Embedded Linux Engineer (C/C++) at BairesDev

As an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize software for embedded systems. You will connect high-level application requirements with hardware capabilities, ensuring highly reliable, secure, and performant operating system execution at the device level.

- Develop, customize, and maintain embedded operating system configurations and distributions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-structured low-level source code to meet stringent system constraints.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex systems-level issues across software and hardware boundaries.

- Collaborate with hardware and systems architectural teams to define software interfaces and product features.

- Optimize system performance, boot times, memory footprint, and power consumption for target devices.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems, Systems Engineering, or low-level software development.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

- Proven expertise working with Embedded Linux systems.

- Solid understanding of low-level software architectures and operating systems.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
